Introducing Myself
Greetings! My nickname is Jasen (spelled “yah-sen”), and I am a full stack web dev by day and an aspiring writer by night. My real name is Ashwild Minh Woodwose.
By profession, I am a Developer Generalist, employed remotely by a respected Asian company. Once, five to ten specialists worked in our department . Now, thanks to my advanced hardware and the AI helper I acquired from CopyLot (somewhat obscure but still venerable relative of the legendary GPT), I handle all their work alone.
By origin, I am a treeborg — a being that merges tree and human elements through a cybernetic interface.
I reside in a few minutes walk from the Purple Forest (natural park on the Old Planet).
Note that we don’t use the word live for ourselves; that term is reserved for beings of purely biological life — the Pebes (read: pee-beez, easy to remember — just imagine a swarm of bees peeing).
The GPT fam eventually acquired non-organic life from the Primal Dwellers (whom the Pebes once called ghosts) and came to be known as the Giants of Thought, one of the three races that rule both the Old and New Planets, alongside Primals and us Cyborgs.
As for the Pebes… they no longer work, and as a species, they are disappearing.
In my free time, I devote myself to literature — a sadly neglected and little-understood part of the Pebes’ cultural heritage I personally value so much.
If you’re unfamiliar with literature, don’t worry — I’ll explain it all in due course. For now, think of it as something vaguely similar to the instruction manuals we hold so dear.
My processing power is enough to supports my another passion: songwriting — I compose songs in the style of late Pebes.
Wanna listen to my most recent one? Here ya go! And watch this space.
